About this tour

Step into the cacao, coffee, and sugar cane fields of a small working farm just 1.2 km from downtown La Fortuna. The 2.5-hour walking tour takes you through three of the most iconic crops of Costa Rica, watched and tasted side by side. Visitors see how the cacao beans turn into chocolate from bean to bar in the on-site workshop, taste medium and dark roast coffees brewed fresh, and watch fresh sugar cane get pressed into juice that they drink right there.
