Professional and Reliable

We used this company for transfers from La Fortuna to San Manuel Antonio and then from San Manuel Antonio to San Jose. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of the company and both the drivers, as well as the cleanliness of the vans. Communication was almost immediate. Our drivers Oscar and Carlos arrived a few minutes early, were highly professional, and super friendly and warm. There was wifi in the van which was much appreciated. All in all, both experiences were excellent. I cannot recommend this company enough. I will definitely use them again for transfers when we are back in CR.

Excellent care and drive with Diego

I was so glad I booked our transfer from La Fortuna to Manuel Antonio with Diego. He was communicative and professional from the time of booking, confirming everything and checking on our needs. He was friendly, kind, spoke great English, and made the long drive as pleasant as possible. I'd absolutely book again.

Monteverde Day Tour

Diego was a great driver and we really enjoyed our day with him. We stayed at the Westin Conchal and wanted to go to Monteverde for the day. Other drivers said we should not do it because it was too much for a day trip, but that's what we wanted to do, so I was very happy that Diego said no problem, even with picking us up at 8:00 AM and dropping us off very late at night. We got to do all the things on my list and see more of Costa Rica. He was a great communicator, on time always, great driver, car was immaculate, and we felt safe and comfortable all day. He recommended a great restaurant for us for lunch, took pics for us at the waterfalls, and got us everywhere we needed to be. Highly recommend his services!

Frequently asked about Monteverde (Cloud Forest) → Manuel Antonio / Quepos

How long is the drive from Monteverde to Manuel Antonio?+
Approximately 4 hours for the 200 km drive. We descend from the Monteverde cloud forest on Route 606, take the Pan-American Highway south to Puntarenas, then the Costanera Sur (Route 34) along the Pacific coast to Manuel Antonio.
What is the descent from Monteverde like?+
The first 35 km from Monteverde down to Sardinal is winding and steep, with sharp curves. The road is paved (since 2020) but our drivers take it slowly for both safety and passenger comfort. If you're prone to motion sickness, take Dramamine before the descent.

Yes — popular stops include Puntarenas for seafood lunch on the malecón, the Tárcoles crocodile bridge, or a quick beach view in Jacó. Sightseeing stops cost $35 per extra hour added to the trip, or are included with our VIP transfer. The Costanera Sur has several scenic viewpoints worth a quick photo stop.
Will we leave the cloud forest microclimate?+
Yes — dramatically. Monteverde sits at 1,400m with cool, often misty conditions (16–22°C). Within 90 minutes you'll be at sea level in the tropical Pacific (28–32°C and humid). Bring layers and switch to beach clothes after the descent.
